Michael Flanagan

TMP Directional Marketing | Chief Executive Officer

Michael Flanagan joined Monster Worldwide as chief financial officer of the directional marketing division in December 2003. He remained in that position when the company became TMP Directional Marketing (TMPDM) in 2005. Today, he oversees the company’s profitability, operational efficiency and senior management teams. Prior to TMPDM, Michael worked for Automatic Data Processing for eight years, the last three as vice president and general manager of ADP Credit Corp. During that time, he led an effort to reengineer business processes by automating the credit-scoring function and streamlining the lease operations. Prior to ADP Credit Corp, Michael spent five years in corporate treasury, working in both domestic and international treasury operations.

Gregg Stewart

TMP Directional Marketing | Senior Vice President of Interactive

Gregg Stewart joined TMP Directional Marketing (TMPDM) as senior vice president of the eastern region in January 2006, successfully managing the Yellow Pages, interactive and local search programs. In January 2007, Stewart assumed the role of senior vice president of interactive to further develop TMPDM’s integrated media solutions. Stewart has over 20 years of Yellow Pages and interactive agency experience. Prior to joining TMPDM, Stewart was senior vice president of channel management and marketing at Fathom Online, a search engine marketing firm. Prior to Fathom Online, Stewart was executive vice president of Wahlstrom Group and president of Wahlstrom Interactive, a division of Interpublic Group. Stewart is the vertical expert on local search for Search Engine Watch, and he previously served on the advisory board for Search Engine Strategies.

Serge Matta

comScore Networks | Senior Vice President of Marketing Solutions

After working three years for MicroStrategy’s consulting group, Serge Matta joined comScore, where he has worked for eight-plus years and currently heads both the telecom and financial services verticals. comScore is proud to serve the top four Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOC), six major cable companies and many others. In addition, comScore works with most of the large Internet Yellow Pages providers and local/general search engines. Prior to leading the telecom vertical, Matta led comScore’s product management group. He has been on several panels and presented at several speaking engagements, including ad:tech, eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit and CTIA.

Bill Tancer

Hitwise | General Manager of Global Research

Prior to joining Hitwise, Bill Tancer led market research and strategy teams at LookSmart and Pacific Bell Internet Services. As senior technology marketplace consultant, he also covered the Internet sector for Gartner Group. Tancer brings 12-plus years of market research and corporate strategy experience to Hitwise. He currently leads a team of research analysts in the U.S., United Kingdom and Australia, providing cutting-edge research and insights into online consumer behavior and the application of online competitive intelligence. Tancer’s analysis of the online landscape has been quoted extensively in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Business Week and more. He is a frequent guest on CNBC and has been interviewed on MSNBC, CNN Radio and Dow Jones Marketwatch, to name a few. Additionally, Tancer is the author of a monthly online column titled “The Science of Search” for Time. Tancer has spoken at J.P. Morgan Global Internet Conference, Columbia Business School Innovative Marketing Conference and more.

Spencer Frasher

Google | Manager of Classifieds and Local

Spencer Frasher joined Google from The ServiceMaster® Company, where he negotiated and ran online lead generation programs for the ServiceMaster® Family of Brands, including Terminix®, TruGreen® ChemLawn, Merry Maids, American Home Shield®, ARS® and Rescue Rooter®. Prior to his tenure at ServiceMaster, Frasher worked for a variety of Internet start-ups in New York and San Francisco. Currently, he manages a sales and operations team that develops and grows successful online and offline marketing campaigns for some of Google’s largest local clients.

Lem Lloyd

Yahoo! | Vice President of U.S. Partnerships

Lem Lloyd’s resume includes an impressive listing of relevant search marketing experience, including vice president of sales and business development at Oodle, which is a search classifieds website, as well as corporate director of classifieds and vice president of classifieds and national sales for online at media company Knight Ridder/KR Digital. This position gave Lloyd full responsibility for all print and online classifieds advertising, including Cars.com, CareerBuilder.com and Apartments.com. He also operated the national sales for Knight Ridder’s online division, successfully managing The Real Cities Network, which is the largest local advertising network in the U.S. with more than 29 million unique visitors. Prior to that, Lloyd served Knight Ridder as senior director of business development, which allowed him to head national partnership activities and negotiate distribution agreements with AOL, Yahoo! and CBS Marketwatch.

Matt Booth

The Kelsey Group | Senior Vice President of Interactive Local Media

Matt Booth joined The Kelsey Group from Perform Local, a local lead generation start-up funded by two prominent venture capital groups. Booth was a co-founder and chief operating officer. Before Perform Local, Booth held several senior positions at Citysearch, which is a subsidiary of IAC/InterActiveCorp, including vice president of strategy and planning, vice president of product and vice president of media partnerships. Booth participated in numerous activities at Citysearch, including creating media partnerships with television and radio stations, launching city guides with leading newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times, designing and implementing a national local search product and developing the prototype of Citysearch’s performance-based sales model.

Saleel Sathé

Microsoft | Director of Product Planning

Saleel Sathé manages product planning for Microsoft’s search and display advertising network, which provides highly targeted advertising for search and content web pages. Prior to Microsoft, Sathé was vice president of product management at AdReady, where he focused on making online display advertising accessible and effective for advertisers of all sizes. Even earlier, Sathé worked on algorithmic relevance and paid search products at AltaVista, Overture and Yahoo! He also has investment banking experience in technology mergers and acquisitions at Credit Suisse First Boston, as well as software engineering experience at Synopsys, a leader in electronic-design automation. Previously, he founded (and later sold) data-processing machines for banks in Bombay, India. Sathé holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from the University of Mumbai, a master’s degree in computer engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dan Hight

Idearc Media | Director Performance Media Sales

Dan Hight, director of performance and media sales for Idearc Media, has been with the company for more than eight years, serving both the national sales and Internet divisions. Currently, he is responsible for agency sales of performance-based advertising solutions. Hight oversees Superpages.com® sales for multiple channels, including search engine marketing companies, interactive advertising agencies and certified marketing representatives. He directs efforts to increase retention and acquisition of agencies and national advertisers, and he develops the targeted sales strategies for Superpages.com and all performance-based advertising programs. Hight is also responsible for sales of performance-based advertising programs in Verizon Yellow Pages. He is an active member of SEMPO, DFWSEM Organization and the Yellow Pages Association, and has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Texas.
